She has the widest mouth in the world: "I've always been laughed at, but now I'm earning thousands of dollars" (+ VIDEO)
It' probably true that not everyone has an "outstanding" physical feature, capable of distinguishing them in a crowd at a glance. Yet each of us is unique. However, there are some people who fall into the "extraordinary people" category because of their exceptional, unique talents or looks.
The woman who is the subject of this story is one of these "special" individuals: she is even in the Guinness Book of World Records, thanks to it!
Her name is Samantha Ramsdell, she's 33 years old, and ever since she was a little girl, she has stood out from the crowd. But why?
It's because she has a mouth that one might define as being "extra large": it can open up to 6.52 cm wide and is able to take a whole apple inside it! This peculiarity earned Sam the title in the Guinness Book of Records as the woman with the largest mouth in the world!
But Samantha also confessed to having lived through dark and unhappy times precisely because of her unique mouth.
"Ever since I was very young, other children made fun of me: every day they called me with horrible names like 'frog girl' or 'fish mouth' and told me I looked like a Pit Bull", she recalled.
And she hasn't fared much better as an adult: even now, she is continually teased and criticized, especially on social media where people can be particularly cruel.
But Samatha has learned how to deal with this and no longer feels "shame" about her large mouth.
"I've learned to love my differences, what makes me special, and to use my uniqueness to take advantage of it," she said.
In fact, Samantha can boast several million followers on the web, and despite the nastiness that can sometimes hurt her, she constantly publishes videos where she shows herself leading her life.
Thanks to her huge following Samatha has earned a lot of money: a single post on her social networks can net her up to $12,000 dollars! But that's not all...
Thanks to her fame, Samantha was able to try her hand at one of her greatest passions: comedy.
She travels throughout the country performing in live shows where she acts, has fun and entertains others: a hearty laugh with her can certainly lift anyone's mood!
"Life is too short to try to pretend to be someone else. I think we should be proud of ourselves and celebrate our uniqueness!" said the record-breaking woman. And what do you think?
