A mortgage is one of the biggest expenses that families who buy a house have to bear. You work almost all your life to be able to pay it off, to finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy the sacrifices made. Successful Youtuber and TikTok star Jamie Nyland, just 24, decided to give his father a huge gift to repay him for all the sacrifices he had made: he paid off his father's mortgage and shared the touching moment on his TikTok channel.

Jamie enters his father's bedroom and throws him the keys to the house. The father hesitates for a moment and asks him "why did you give them to me?" and he replies “I just paid off the mortgage. I called the bank and paid every single penny you needed. You own this house now, I swear. You have worked all your life so now you can actually retire ”.

Initially the man, seeing Jamie filming the scene, thought it was all a joke destined for his son's social media channels and kept saying "no". As soon as he realized his son wasn't kidding, he burst into tears. He said he couldn't accept this huge and sweet gesture, but his son firmly said it was all done.

Richard, before returning the keys to his son, said “you are the best son a man could have. The house is in my will and what's mine is yours”. The moving video ends with a hug and in the description of the video we read “he deserves it”.
