How to prepare cinnamon-fried apple rings that your taste buds will not forget!

There are ingredients that we always use to make desserts because we know that they represent a certainty, something that allows us to be on the safe side and satisfy the tastes of as many people as possible.

A food that in this sense is the master is certainly the apple! So naturally sweet that it can be used to prepare mouth-watering recipes while also serving as the main ingredient.

An example? Delicious apple rings covered with batter, fried and covered with sugar and cinnamon ... How can you resist?

Take 3-4 apples of the Gala variety, cut into slices of the same thickness and remove the cores with a small stencil.

Lay the apple rings on a plate lined with a paper towel and cover them with another paper towel to absorb any excess moisture.


To prepare the batter ...

In a bowl, add about 1 cup of flour (120 gr), 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

In another bowl, add 1 egg and 1 cup of milk (250 ml) or, if available, use 3/4 of a cup of buttermilk.

Add the two mixtures and whisk until a lump-free batter is obtained. Heat the frying oil and when it is hot, dip the apple rings into the batter.

After dipping the apple rings into the batter, fry them in the hot oil, turning them on the other side as soon as the batter becomes golden brown.


 When the apple rings are done, for a touch of extra flavor, sprinkle them with sugar and an additional sprinkling of cinnamon (if you want!).
