If your pet cat is not used to staying within the house, as might be safer, it will be very likely that the animal in question, however cuddly and affectionate in your presence, will hang out for many hours on the street to get up to who knows what trouble. No surprise that cats will return after some time, perhaps bringing with them the signs of a fight between cats in the neighborhood. Finding a cat "in debt" for having eaten for free for a few days, on the other hand, is a bit more unsettling. Yet, this is exactly what happened in the city of Chiang Mai, Thailand, in the Chang Phuak district. A cat returned to its owner after 3 days in which he had not been seen, accompanied by an amusing note attached to the collar. On that note someone had written that the animal owed ... 3 fish!

Cats usually don't have too much trouble getting what they want and don't seem to regret their behavior in the least. This cat was found on the street with a handwritten note hanging from its collar. The note read like this: "Your cat kept looking at the mackerel in my fish shop, so I gave him 3". The owner, when he found "his" cat, immediately took a photo of the hilarious message.

It didn't take long for the photo to go viral, provoking general laughter among internet readers. Fortunately for the owner, the cat's debt wasn't all that expensive - mackerel are pretty cheap fish!

Many users then praised the woman, the owner of the fish shop, for having fed the cat adequately while he was away from home.

A truly curious and unusual story!
