Those who drive buses and public transport often see all sorts of things!

Having such a job, in fact, means finding yourself day and night - depending on the shifts - among people, and personally witnessing many different situations.

And Jamie Grabowski, a bus driver from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, knows this very well.

Especially, since she was the protagonist of a very special experience, that was posted online and quickly shared by countless people on social media platforms!

Jamie Grabowskmie, who is a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus driver was returning to the bus depot at the end of the evening shift when on her way she saw two lost dogs and decided that she could not just turn a blind eye.

That night (18 December 2019) it was particularly cold in the city, and the two animals were certainly lost, confused, and frightened, finding themselves alone in the middle of the icy city streets.

So Jamie, despite being tired and her desire to finally go home at the end of her shift, decided to stop the bus to try and help the two animals.

In a video taken by some surveillance cameras, you can clearly see the bus driver who stops the bus, lowers her driver's window and calls out to the two dogs, who fortunately immediately approached the bus.

At that point, just as if they were two commuters, the bus driver invited the two special "passengers", a Pitbull and a Doberman Pinscher, to get on the bus, which they did immediately!

Jamie then directed her bus to MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission), a structure that specializes in the reception and care of lost and stray animals in Milwaukee.

The two big, gentle, and playful dogs, immediately recovered from the cold and fright, thanks to the attention at the MADACC center.

The families of these dogs, meanwhile, had been looking for them all night. In fact, it was discovered shortly thereafter that the two dogs had already traveled over 2.5 miles (4 km) away from home when Jamie found them!

In any case, fortunately, the two dogs were soon reunited with their human family and friends.

However, there is no denying that this bus driver found herself in the right place at the right time! And thanks to her wonderful gesture, the two dogs are now safe and warm at home with their respective families.
