Nobody ever really wants to call the police. Whatever the reason, in fact, if it is appropriate to resort to calling emergency numbers it means that something serious, dangerous or difficult needs to be resolved.

Or, at least, that should be the case, especially when the police receive sixteen phone calls in just 30 minutes.

This is a true incident and it really happened in exactly the following way.

First, to be precise, it occurred in Lakeville, Minnesota. And the police officers who tried to respond to the requests for help, however, later found that the origin of the calls was far from worrying.

Imagine that you are a police officer who, within half an hour, receives sixteen 911 emergency calls and who, in answering, can only hear sounds of dogs in the background.

Reasonably, the situation would arouse suspicion and apprehension for anyone who answered these calls, and of course, it was the same for the Lakeville police!

In particular, police officer Michelle Roberts and her colleague decided it was a good idea for them to go check it out in person.

Arriving on the spot, the police officers asked the homeowners if everything was all right, and the latter replied that they knew nothing about the 911 emergency phone calls!

At that point, entering the garage from their house, together with the police, they all made the hilarious discovery!

Their two pet dogs, as if they were doing nothing wrong, were jumping and playing near a smartphone with the screen displaying and stuck in "emergency calls only" mode.

Completely unaware of the results of their actions, these two four-legged friends had been happily calling 911 repeatedly, just to play a little!

In short, the "emergency" was resolved — unless the two dogs had really wanted to report a crime...

In any case, one thing is for sure, these two dogs were the protagonists of an episode that made everyone laugh a lot!
