Climate change makes meteorological phenomena more intense and devastating.

Hurricanes, torrential rains, earthquakes, and landslides, all make our cities vulnerable. Furthermore, it is not only human beings who suffer the consequences of nature, but also animals.

In Mexico, the city of Oaxaca experienced a sudden cold front. Those who were able to, of course, stayed in their house, but outside, there were those who do not have a house such as stray animals and homeless people.

If for the latter the civil service set up shelters and hot meals, for dogs without an owner, a shoe store manager decided to do something to help them.

The owners of the "Juliancito" shoe store posted on Facebook a photo of two large puppies that entered the store to protect themselves from the cold.

The post has gone viral and several animal welfare associations have expressed their appreciation by saying, "Today was a cold and rainy day, so two puppies were welcomed inside a store. Elsewhere they would have been considered only "dirty dogs". "Juliancito" you are a hero!"

"Good deeds always go viral and the store appreciates the praises received on their Facebook page, but would like these two puppies to find a family, so they can be ADOPTED."

"These four-legged friends roam the market area, they feed on waste, and what some passers-by leave for them. Help us find a home for them!"

We really hope that these two puppies find a home soon and that they do not have to take refuge any more in a shoe store to survive the winter!
