Recycle your plastic wine bladder bags --- Create fantastic ice packs!

Besides being bottled and sealed in tetra-pak cartons, boxed wine can also be distributed in a plastic bladder typically with an air-tight valve emerging from a protective corrugated fiberboard box.

After the wine has been consumed, these plastic bladder bags are particularly useful when recycled. As a matter of fact, you can transform them into very practical and convenient ice packs that fit perfectly in the bottom of your freezer or cooler!

Just wash a plastic bladder bag thoroughly, then fill it with water, let it freeze, and use the ice when and where you like! You can also recycle flexible refill pouches for detergents in the same way!
