A hole in the ground can be a very dangerous trap for an elderly blind dog like Christmas, that one day ended up in while wandering in a field. For about a month the animal was fed by local children, who threw the food down into the darkness. Fortunately animal rights association got interested in the matter, and was able to bring it back to the surface safely.
