Young woman discovers that her boyfriend has another lover but doesn't react as one might expect

Sofía Victoria Gutiérrez Sousa, a young Venezuelan woman, assures us that she is still in love with her boyfriend: "I only want the best for him and, having discovered that there was another woman in his life, made me happy: it will means that he will be loved even more".

Sofia's statement might seem "crazy" for those who believe in the sanctity of "traditional", monogamous relationship. But polyamory is now a growing reality in modern times: some people argue that polyamory is preferable to partners having to "sneak around" hiding their infidelity.

"I appreciate all the efforts the other woman makes for him," Sofía said. But what exactly does she mean...?

"The other woman understood what her role was to be: she never appears in public with him, she stands by him and supports him. Basically, she loves him unconditionally," Sofia explained.

Sofia also added that the presence of another woman in her boyfriend's life gives her comfort and peace of mind: "I appreciate what she does for him and I know that when I can't be there for him, she will be".

So, now Sofia (and her boyfriend) have an "open" relationship with the other woman (named, Sarahy Gil). The two women have stated that not only do they "share" the same boyfriend, but that they have become very good friends. What do you think of this unusual story?
