He is 25 and she is 85: despite the difference in age, they love each other and want to get married

Love is blind and knows no age, yet some stories in which partners share a significant age difference still leave us feeling very perplexed. Muyiwa, for example, is a 25-year-old young man who seems to have found love with a woman much older than him. What's wrong with two people being in love despite their age? Nothing - yet the young man's friends and the woman's relatives do not support their relationship at all. Could it be because she is 85 years old, and has 8 children and 20 grandchildren?

As you can see, the age difference between the two is really vast, but both say they are in love and are happy to be together.

Thereza is an 85-year-old elderly woman who must have had a full life considering her large family: she can currently enjoy the company of 8 children and 20 grandchildren. Thereza is also the owner of the house which Muyiwa, a young African man and his friends were renting. And here is how the two, so widely separated by age and circumstances, first came into contact with each other. Being in a house rented by the elderly woman, in fact, allowed Muyiwa to get to know her much, much better.

When asked how the love between him and Thereza was born (who could be his grandmother, to be honest), Muyiwa says: "I remember a Friday when my colleague wasn't here. I was hungry and we didn't have any food in the house. I felt very weak and out of nowhere, the elderly lady brought me some food. She came and served me food with such care and generosity. "

It seems that it was the woman's extreme kindness towards him that sparked his affections: "The way she behaved and the way she treated me made me fall in love with her. It’s true that she could be my grandmother ... but what does that mean, so what?! I love her ".

Muyiwa's friends disapprove of the relationship and are horrified with their future plans to get married. Similarly, Thereza's children and grandchildren absolutely do not support their relationship. To those who criticize them, Muyiwa simply replies: "This is my choice, this is my happiness. Everyone has their own way of making themselves happy".

Thereza also says she is ready to get fitted for a wedding dress and to put a ring on her finger, despite her advanced age. Many followers took the couple’s side, defending their freedom of choice and applauding the words of the young man, who just wants to be happy. Many others, of course, felt compelled to criticize this unorthodox relationship.

What do you think? Does Muyiwa have ulterior motives? Can a vast age difference rule out there being a true, loving relationship?
