Parents are usually seen as invincible superheroes or as people who can do anything without feeling the burden of sacrifices, especially if they are made for the sake of their children. But they too are human beings like everyone else - they have weaknesses, uncertainties, they face problems of all kinds and, at times, they overcome everyday obstacles only with great difficulty. Their sacrifices and concern, however, demonstrate how much love there is in parents towards their children.

Because of all of this, children too should occasionally acknowledge their parents' efforts and reciprocate. The subject of the story we are about to tell you knows all about this. His gesture towards his mother was truly admirable and moved and excited the web.

Enrique Zapata Reyes is a young Mexican man who managed to reach the first and important milestone in his life: he graduated in engineering. You might think it is a very common thing in our day, but in reality it is not the case at all, especially if you come from a humble background like he does. The young man's mother, in fact, managed to support the family only with the earnings of a stall selling clothes and other accessories. It's a job that is certainly not very profitable, but with great effort, the woman did everything possible for her son to become a university student.

How can one thank someone for such a great sacrifice? Enrique decided to join her on the job and take a picture with her and showing him holding his graduation scroll in his hand. He then published it on social media with a dedication that thrilled the many readers.

“A few days ago I graduated in engineering and I wanted to take a picture in front of my mother's stall. Many times the sales money she earned was used to buy my books and to pay for my transport. Other times it was not enough to do everything needed. I would also like to thank all the people who bought something from my mother, because they contributed to the realization of my dream ”, wrote the boy. He then encouraged everyone to make small and large purchases from local sellers or workers who, like his mother, have market stalls.

His gesture and the photos showing him with his mother at her clothes stall immediately made the rounds on the web, triggering many comments of appreciation for a beautiful and loving act.

Paying homage to your parents is one of the best ways to recognize what they have done and will continue to do for us. Perhaps we will never be able to reciprocate enough, but let's reflect on what Enrique has done and take an example from his small action.

What do you think?
