They might be small, they might not even have turned 5 years old, they do not know the overly complex dynamics of this so difficult world, but do not dare to underestimate the abilities of our children: when you least expect it they are capable of such courageous actions that we should ask ourselves if we are facing an adult disguised as a child or vice versa. This is the story of a four-year-old boy named Essa, who despite having difficulty speaking, managed to call police officers in Nottingham, UK, when he realized that his mother, Charlotte Khan, had suddenly fainted and lost consciousness for a few minutes.

he then picked up the home phone and dialed that number, not expecting someone on the other end of the phone to answer; and instead, the four-year-old boy, despite his language difficulties, was able to speak for 17 minutes with the Nottinghamshire police officers even if he could not express himself completely: "Mum fallen", or "Mum hurt", were the few phrases that Essa had managed to pronounce over the phone to the helpers.

Fortunately, the police understood the emergency situation perfectly and arrived at the Khan house together with an ambulance; after a short time, Charlotte fully recovered and was amazed at what her son had done for her: "When the police came they were able to wake me up and without them I don't know how long I would have been unconscious. I'm so proud of him. Even the police couldn't believe what my son had managed to do! "

Despite his tender age and the obvious difficulties with language and expression, the little 4-year-old Essa managed to carry out a titanic and very, very courageous undertaking: he saved his mother thanks to the number printed on his police car and mostly thanks to his quick thinking alone.

You've been great Essa!
