Daughter invites mother to go on her honeymoon: when they return, she finds out her mother is pregnant with her husband's baby
They say that life is full of surprises. Some of the things that happen to us are even hard to believe. Families are often an endless source of drama, conflict, and uncomfortable situations. Lauren Wall, a 34-year-old woman from Twickenham, England, knows all too well the kind of drama families are capable of creating. Her story involves a her newlywed husband, Paul, their honeymoon, and her mother, Julie.
It's not easy keeping a tight-knit family. Lauren always thought she was extremely lucky that her fiancé, Paul, and her mother got along so well. This thought, however, came to an unfortunate end when she discovered that Paul was cheating on Lauren with her mother. To make matters worse, her mother ended up getting pregnant after all three of them returned from Lauren and Paul's honeymoon that they had invited her mother on.

It's a hard thing to recover from, once you've found out that the man you just married is actually in love with your mother. It's even more of a nightmare when you realize she loves him back, and is pregnant with his baby.
Julie, Lauren's mother, was always a big supporter of Lauren and Paul getting married. They had already been together for some time and even had a daughter together. To show just how much she approved of lauren and Paul's wedding, Julie put £15,000 toward their wedding cerimony. Considering the amount she paid, Lauren and Paul thought it was only right to invite her on their honeymoon with them. The honeymoon went great, but Lauren noticed a change in her husband's behavior after they got back from their trip. Paul began acting weird and went out of the room any time he received a phone call.
As time went by, and Paul's behavior was still the same, Lauren became more and more suspicious. She didn't realize, however, just how bad the situation was until her sister revealed something to her: Paul and Lauren's mother had been exchanging text messages that suggested that they were having an affair with each other. When she confronted Paul about the text messages, he confirmed everything: he had been secretly seeing her mother ever since they came back from the honeymoon.
Before long, Paul moved out of the house and in with Lauren's mother. Feeling betrayed, she vowed that she would never talk or see either of them again. A few months later, she recieved even more shocking news when she ran into her mother and discovered that she was pregnant with Paul's baby!
Five years after Lauren's divorce from Paul, he and Julie got married. To say the least, the last 5 years hasn't been a cakewalk for lauren. She was betrayed by the two people she was supposed to be able to trust/depend on the most. Lauren held everything in for 15 years before she decided to open up and share her story. Given the circumstances, we can understand why! We only hope that Lauren is able to get the help she needs to move on with her life and not let her past haunt her anymore.
