Luckily, the world is so big that it's made up of a lot of interesting individuals. The beauty of the human race is that there is not one person alike; each person has their own unique characteristics that cannot be imitated. There are even people who, born with unusual defects, can make a career out of them. Let's take Jyoti Amge and Sultan Kosen, for example. While Jyoti is the world's smallest woman, Sultan Kosen is the world's tallest man. When put together, these two people couldn't seem more different from each other. Both of them, however, have found a way to make a career out of their conditions and, more recently, were both recipients of a Guinness World Record.

Born in Nagpur, India, in 1993, Jyoti is affected by a rare genetic disease similar to dwarfism, making her stand only slightly taller than 2 ft (which is not much taller than a 3-year-old). In 2013, she was awarded the "World's Smallest Woman" Award from Guiness World Records. Her Guinness award is not the only thing she has accomplished in her life, however. A few years ago, she graduated with a degree in Literature and has also had some success in the world of cinema.

Sultan Kosen is also a Guinness World Records recipient. Towering over the rest of the world at 8.2 ft tall, you could say he's turned plenty of heads in his life. Similar to Jyoti, his gigantism is caused by a tumor growing on his pituitary gland. Given the tumor was a potential danger to his life, he had to have it removed (which was done successfully).

Sultan wears a size 22 (USA) shoe and, despite his height, he's not as good at sports as some people might think. He tried playing basketball many times when he was young, but turns out his height didn't prove to be much of an advantage for him.

The unlikely pair met up in Egypt for a commercial, where they promoted famous tourist attractions, like the Pyramids of Giza.
