The love between siblings may not always be apparent, but it definitely exists. It may not show up in the obvious of ways, like hugging or other affectionate gestures, but the love between a brother and a sister lasts a lifetime. For an example of just how much siblings can care about each other, look no further than Maverick Francisco Oyao and his sister, Lu. After finding out his parents couldn't afford to buy their daughter a dress to her school's winter formal, he decided to make her one himself. And you won't believe how stunningly beautiful it is!

Maverick, whose family comes from the Philippines, designed and made his sister's dress completely by himself. Here's the first sketch.

The dress was finished just in time for the winter formal, which was held on Valentine's day. Lu couldn't believe how beautiful the dress turned out!

And it took only a week and a half for Maverick to finish the dress.

Lu and Maverick are now closer than ever, and their parents will forever be grateful for what Maverick did for his sister. It's like a modern day version of the Cinderella story... only Lu's fairy godmother was actually her brother, who cared about her happiness so much that he made her a dress.
