Everyone knows that having a cat as a pet is good for their health and increases their sense of happiness and mental relaxation.

It is, therefore, not a coincidence that, on a par with a dog, if you have a cat, you know that a cat is also among the best and most faithful four-legged friends of human beings.

In fact, there is a myriad of incredible stories, in which cats are the protagonists, that are shared every day on the Internet by users from all over the world.

Today, the story that we want to share with you will melt your heart, we are sure of it.

Michu, the female kitten that is the protagonist of this incredible story, has always been the favorite feline in the home of Karen Urzua Gonzalez, a woman from San Bernardo in Chile, whose video posted on Facebook has been shared around the Internet.

In the video, we are clearly faced with the proof that cats have therapeutic powers and are able to understand when something is wrong with their human friend!

The protagonist of the video, besides Michu, is Karen's grandmother who, at the age of 80, had been diagnosed with senile dementia, a degenerative disease that alters the memory and other reasoning skills related to language, perception, and judgment.

As you can see from the images posted by Karen, the kitten literally climbs up to the back of Maria Eliana's head trying to caress her and take away her invisible pain or discomfort, that is clearly perceived by the sensitive kitten.

The response to Michu's behavior is obviously unknown to her owners, but Karen has interpreted her behavior as a sign of strong empathy on the part of the cat, who tried in every way to "use"' her beneficial powers to help the elderly woman.

Whether it was a sign from heaven or not, Michu's affectionate and caring gesture towards Karen's grandmother touched everyone!

Most of all, what happened has allowed everyone to understand that these four-legged friends, although sometimes haughty and distant, are actually precious friends and born "healers".  We should all have a little cat in our homes!
