Advice to parents about appreciating their children!

True love is said to be discovered only when you see your child born. It is also said that the worst thing that can happen to a parent is to survive their children.

Richard Pringle cannot deny any of the two statements. In fact, as a father, he felt his heart explode with joy at the birth of his eldest son, and then he felt he had also died when his little boy passed away due to a cerebral hemorrhage caused by a congenital malformation.

Richard's son was only 3 years old. From his tragic experience, Richard says he has learned many things about life, and for this reason, he wants to communicate these realizations to those who still have the gift of being able to live alongside their children.

Some advice for parents from a father who has seen his child born --- and pass away within the space of a few short years.

 1. Appreciate every moment in the company of your children: No matter what you are doing, if you are working on a project, if it is night or day, late or early.  When you have the opportunity to talk and play with your children, always do it.

 2. Do not forget to say good morning or goodnight to your children, because you do not know if you will be able to say this to them the next day.

 3. Memories are forever, immortalize them with photos and videos of the moments spent together with your children. You will see them one day with a big smile and tears in your eyes.

 4. Time waits for no one. So stop waiting for the time when you will have some free time to spend with your kids. Do everything you can to take some time every day to dedicate to them --- everything else can wait, commitments, work, friends ...

 5. Keep a diary of the finest emotions you have experienced during their childhood. I started writing one with my wife when my son died so that the memories will last forever.

 6. Love is infinite, there is no limit, and when you give it all to your children that means you will not waste not even one drop.

 7. Money is not important when it is spent on children. As much as possible spend it all for them, spending a weekend away with the family, doing sports or having fun. Today, my mind is full of memories of the moments spent with my son, while I absolutely do not remember the money I spent on him.

 8. If you get up in the morning and see your kids on their feet and smiling, you should feel like the luckiest person in the world. Be a part of their life, accompany them to school, be their babysitter, take them to the park, and go pick them up from the gym. Time flies and you will soon see your children leave the house to continue their own lives.

 9. Sing together with them. The songs you sing together will remain impressed in your memory for the rest of your life. I still remember all the car trips made with my son as we passed the time singing songs at the top of our lungs!

10. Make every moment fun, no matter what you are doing! Life is too short to never find a reason to rejoice and be happy. Have fun with your kids so you will not regret it when it is too late.

These words deserve to be shared to remind all parents of the good fortune they have to see their children live and grow up in good health.
