Thermoforming --- produces perfect custom-made 3D objects!

What you see in the video is a variation of a procedure called "thermoforming", which is a manufacturing process where a plastic sheet is heated to a pliable forming temperature, formed to a specific shape in a mold, and trimmed to create a usable product.

In this video, we can observe what happens when the thermoplastic sheet is joined with the print during the process of heating and shaping it in a mould.

The basic concept is to apply the thermoforming process to a previously printed sheet with a texture or a pattern, thereby obtaining an incredibly detailed object.
