A father introduces his baby daughter to his two boxers; they are eager to welcome her!

Boxer dogs are a very suitable breed for families who have children, even very young children. In fact, boxers are very sociable dogs, playful even in old age, and very patient with both adults and children.

There are many who advise against any contact between infants and dogs, but there are several examples of parents who allow these four-legged members of the family and their babies to get to know each other from their very first days of birth. 

These two boxers give a warm welcome to the little newborn girl, who their owner tells them to consider to be like a "sister" and judging by their incessant tail-wagging, they seem to be positively excited about getting to know this new member of the family!
