Caitlin Foster is a young mother from Northern Ireland who, together with her little daughter, Lacey, starred in a very moving story. According to Caitlin, the two of them had just left their grandmother's house after spending some time in her company, and they stopped at a toy store. Lacey's grandmother had given her £10 pounds to buy whatever she wanted.

Caitlin told Lacey she could buy whatever she wanted in the shop, but, unfortunately, £10 pounds doesn't go very far and Lacey was unable to afford the toys she really wanted. Then, something wonderful happened...

As they walked down through the aisles, Caitlin and Lacey were approached by 3 store clerks. "They came over to us and asked if they could give Lacey a gift voucher," Caitlin said. Apparently, a complete stranger had entered the store some time before them and bought a gift voucher, asking the staff to give it to the first small child who entered the shop. And Lacey was the lucky one.

Not knowing the identity of the donor, the shop assistants were unable to give Caitlin any specific information. The only information available was left in a note the donor - a woman - had written on the voucher. Apparently, the voucher was being offered in memory of woman's daughter who had passed away. On the day in question, the little girl would have turned 4 years old. In her daughter's memory, the woman went into the shop, bought a £50 gift voucher and left it as a gift for the first young child to enter the premises.

Not being able to thank her in person, Caitlin decided to post photos of Lacey on Facebook with the toys she had bought with the gift voucher. “I am very grateful. The only thing I can say is, whoever you are, if you see this and recognize it, please know that you have made my little girl very happy and I thank you for this,” said Caitlin. These heart-felt words moved everyone who read them.

Despite the sadness of the situation - after all, the woman had lost her daughter - this gesture was a wonderful one. Let's just hope that this kind stranger has managed to overcome her grief.
