Famous actor goes back to the shop where he stole candy bars from as a kid and buys all the chocolate snacks: "I'm correcting my mistakes"

There are some famous people who need no introduction, and are known to the general public for their kindness and approachability. Dwayne Johnson - or The Rock - is certainly one of these: now a famous actor, he is adored by his fans and not just for the humility with which he faces life. Life hasn't been easy for Dwayne, especially during his adolescence, and he certainly made some mistakes. But luck smiled upon him and today, he is a big success. At 50 years old, the famous actor is now trying to make up for one of his youthful mistakes. Let's see how:
In a video posted on Instagram, The Rock explains that he has wanted to rectify a youthful mistake he made when he was a kid. When he was 14, he regularly stole chocolate bars - Snickers - from a convenience store he passed on his way to the gym. Not having the money to afford to buy the chocolate, Dwayne would simply steal the snack off the shelf - every single day. Many years have passed since those days, but today Dwayne made up for his misdeeds by going back to the store and buying all the Snickers bars.
Whilst in the shop, The Rock also decided to pay for the shopping of anyone who was in there at the time. In the video that he posted you can see this very clearly. Also, once the nearly $300 bill was settled, the actor left all the Snickers bars at the counter, telling the clerk to give them to anyone who asked.
"We can't change the past and some of the stupid things we might have done, but every once in a while, we can make up for what we've done in the past," Dwayne wrote on his Instagram account.
The Rock chatted with his fans in the shop and posed for photos with them - especially the children. Readers reacted very positively to this story. Dwayne was praised by his fans on Instagram: "What a wonderful gesture!"; another added, "That's the point! Fixing things we've broken! A legendary story!"; yet another added, "You're the best." In fact, you can't help but smile watching the video of this wonder act of restitution.
