A popular saying goes that "you need to work to live, not live to work", but many people often forget this, devoting most of their lives to work even giving up vacations. Yanina Alfaro, a 44-year-old Argentine mother decided to change her life by leaving her office job to become a domestic worker and enjoy life traveling the world in her spare time - she understood this principle very well.

The woman has become known in her country thanks to her TikTok account where, in addition to sharing cleaning tips, she also shows how she enjoys traveling with the money she earns from her job. Yanina explained that she chose her cleaning profession ten years ago in order to have a better life for herself and her child. She began documenting her vacations and, after seeing fan comments, she decided to record her daily life as well to disprove those who labeled her as a "privileged person".

"I started showing how I get up at five in the morning to work. A bit out of anger, I showed my routine because there were some criticisms that were unfair: in Argentina, if you have fun it is only because you are rich and privileged," she said. "I like to enjoy life, who doesn't? You don't know how long you will live. So, I enjoy it while I can. I have to get up early, because no one will give me anything for free. I work 12 hours a day and then book into the most expensive hotel in the country for a week," she added.

As for her TikTok account, she said many women who follow her ask her for advice. "I noticed that many women who clean houses follow me. They tell me that I inspire them. Many of them have asked me how I found my first job. It is thanks to TikTok that I was find more work. I have been contacted by many interested people. But I have no more hours available to take on new jobs now," she explained.

Yanina also pointed out all the benefits she enjoys working 12 hours a day in the cleaning industry: "I manage my time here. If I don't go cleaning one day, I earn nothing. If I get sick,I earn nothing. If I have to take a day of rest, that's fine. If I want a vacation, I take that too. And I get paid well for the work I do. When I worked in the office, I earned a lot less. Now I don't have to put up with bosses. When I work, I'm on my own and I do the cleaning. Nobody bothers me."

For sure, Yanina has shown us all how hard work can pay off!
