In a historical and social moment like the one we are experiencing now, it is no coincidence that many people who used to make it to the end of the month by tightening their belts, are now also finding it difficult to bring home the bacon. Many of these individuals end up living on the street, without a secure roof to sleep under or in their own private means of transport (like their cars or vans or trucks). But don't be fooled though: not all people who live and sleep inside their cars are propertyless, homeless or don't have a fixed abode or even a job ...

This is the story of a girl named Aaliyah who on TikTok sparked a lot of discussion about herself when she told web users about her curious life choices. Although the American girl explains that she has a steady job in a company that sells products useful for the maintenance of homes, the salary she receives every month is absolutely not enough to allow her to rent even a simple studio apartment or a room in the city. For this reason, she has chosen to live inside her own car. And despite her living conditions, many of her friends and acquaintances tell her all too often that she should be happy in her life, especially since she has a steady (albeit underpaid) job in these difficult times.

But for Aaliyah, it's not all roses and despite having the "luxury" of work, she can't afford to live under a safe roof of a house: "People don't know what it's like to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. and being forced to sleep in your car, showering and changing in a gym as soon as it opens to customers. That's why I smile very little and am always tired, very tired," Aaliyah revealed.

In short, life really seems very difficult for Aaliyah, and it certainly isn't made easier by all the people in her life. For example, it would not be the first time that the American girl has been stopped by a patrol or a squad of the local police, who are suspicious of the "activities" that Aaliyah carries out inside her car. For this reason, the girl has decided to let off some steam on the social media, responding to the avalanche of people who ask her why she is always tired and never smiles.

Many users took her side - they showed themselves to be decidedly understanding and even asked the young woman to make her situation known at work - not only to receive extra help, but also to have the possibility of receiving accommodation, albeit temporary, where she will be able to live, eat and sleep safely.

All we can do for now is hope help and support will arrive sooner rather than later for this American girl who has a great desire to work hard to be able to change her life conditions and to finally say goodbye to her "car-as-home" once and for all!
