Nowadays, having a steady job is a great privilege, and even more so when we receive rewards and increases from our bosses for our sacrifices and our long-term commitments. Everyone likes to be rewarded for their work once in a while, but today it doesn't seem like many workplaces are giving their hardworking employees what they deserve. This is the case of a model employee who explained on Reddit about his bad experience with his employer and why he decided to quit at a pivotal moment in his professional career ...

The anonymous Reddit user described  his work experience and why, after six years, he decided to quit on the spot. After all this time, it turned out that the top management of his company had never "given" him a bonus or a raise. The irony is that, as the perfect employee tells us, it was he who had managed a number of negotiations with millionaires - a considerable responsibility which, however, after six years of hard work he has never been rewarded with, for example, an increase in his paycheck, a one-off reward or a Christmas bonus.

This was a frustrating situation that the man, however, has decided to turn in his favor once and for all by severing relations with the company. Just as he was about to complete a major financial deal worth $ 3 million, the employee made the decision to quit on the spot.

Many Reddit users who have carefully read his story could not help but take the side of the man who decided to quit, thus supporting the man's sense of injustice at the hands of his uncaring company. After all, as the person concerned said, "Now they have no one to replace me with and it is really nice to think of how much economic and financial damage my quitting has caused them after everything I sacrificed for them for 6 long years."

In your opinion, did this employee do the right thing to quit on the spot, or should he have negotiated with the top management of his company for a fair wage? Let us know in the comments!
