"My house is poor but tidy": a woman responds to criticism and teaches everyone a life lesson

There is no holier place than your home. Our homes are our safe place in the world, the environement in which we experience our most beautiful and also our saddest moments. Our homes are always ready to welcome us at the end of the day making us feel safe. Our homes see us grow, they see us reach our goals and, undoubtedly, they are the place par excellence where we plan our greatest dreams. We furnish our homes following our tastes, giving space to all our imagination, making them the mirror of our personality. The best thing about our homes is that no one can tell us what to do, we are free to be what we want to be and above all we are free to do whatever we want to do.

You don't need a lot of wealth to have a clean and organized home. There's no need to furnish it with sumptuous furniture and fine fabrics; no majestic paintings or luxurious silverware are needed; all our homes need is love and care, because by loving them we can take care of them in the best possible way, regardless of our social status. To make a home precious, you only need a pinch of inventiveness, and this is emphasized by Ana Belén Loor Espinoza, a young single mother who boasts a TikTok account with more than 11,000 followers. In her videos, Ana proudly shows her humble home: a very modest house and not at all full of expensive frills. It's a small house without too many pretensions, built with wood and reeds, with attention to the smallest details.

The conditions in which Ana lives are not the best, but her home is certainly a reflection of her spirit: poor but immaculate and incredibly organized. Her ability to make her home flawless in every detail has fascinated her followers, who are increasing day by day. The world of the web is a wonderful place for sharing, but it is also governed by people who never miss the opportunity to attack those who expose themselves publicly. Unfortunately, Ana has to face negative judgments from the people of the web on a daily basis, who instead of appreciating her ability to make a very poor environment warm and welcoming, prefer to humiliate her, stating that she could have done more to find a nicer and more acceptable home to raise her daughters.

Undoubtedly, the web can be a place that can bring down a person's certainties, but this is not the case with Ana, who knows very well that to raise her children it is not necessary to live in a luxurious environment with huge rooms. Ana has never let herself be disheartened by the judgments of others and has not even let herself be silenced, always preferring to respond with a smile, convinced that she is a loving mother and that her daughters have a home which can give them everything they need even if it's a humble one.

On this young mother's Tik Tok account, we can see with our own eyes the conditions in which she lives with her daughters. The kitchen is very tidy and is equipped with everything you need to eat and keep clean, inside there is a very large fridge and two perfect tables without even a chair out of place. The living room is impeccable, with its colorful sofas and the television hanging on the wall. The bedrooms are absolutely perfect, adorned with colorful curtains and furniture.

As a matter of fact, poverty is not synonymous with clutter or disorganization and not all luxury homes are impeccably maintained. Ana's videos are a lesson taught to those who are used to judging based on appearance, to those who have tried to silence and humiliate her, to those who have tried to make her feel guilty just because all she can offer her daughters is a home made of wood.

What distinguishes a three-story house from a small apartment is its size, but emotionally there are no homes which are better or worse than others. Our homes, large or small, will always have a special place in our hearts, which can never be compared to all the riches in the world.
