Sometimes, it takes very little to get into the role of a superhero: you don't need special cloaks or costumes, but simply the right readiness and awareness of being on the right side. Often and willingly, then, pitfalls hide behind events that may seem completely banal and, for this reason, it's always necessary to have your eyes wide open. A 4-year-old boy was in danger of being crushed by a package that a courier had just delivered to his front door, but fortunately the man himself noticed the impending accident and immediately ran to his aid. It took a moment to get control of the situation, but fortunately, the promptness of UPS courier Marco Angel was a blessing. On the other hand, he's a parent too, so it didn't take long for him to switch into "dad mode" and rush to help the kid in need.

Little Max loves helping his parents with little household chores - collecting the mail is one of those activities that probably makes him feel like a "big kid". Max, therefore, never misses an opportunity to collect the parcels left by postmen and couriers, but this time he didn't take into account the size of the incoming parcel. To be honest, Max's mom pointed out that her son is not allowed to open the front door without her supervision, but at that moment Max must have disobeyed or, as far as we know, he must have thought he was doing a great favor to his mother, who, when the package arrived, was nursing her other daughter upstairs.

It all happened in a few seconds: the courier, Marco, left the gigantic package right outside the door of little Max's house and when the child went out to collect it, the man was already returning to his van, on the other side of the road. The package, a new hammock, fell inexorably on Max, who had not calculated the weight of the object well and believed he could do it alone without problems. The hammock fell on him, crushing him against the railings of the staircase. The little boy screamed for help and the courier, who by now had almost reached his van, fortunately noticed. Marco Angel didn't waste a second and ran towards the boy, not even worrying about the traffic as he ran across the street. In a moment he was back there, ready to save him, like a real superhero. For Marco it was natural, he too is a father and, in any case, he would never have left a child in difficulty.

Max's parents have never stopped thanking their "angel", Marco Angel, for his prompt action. We don't know how things would have gone if he hadn't intervened in time, but luckily everything has worked out for the best.

Watch the video of the scene: he had a few seconds to intervene and he didn't waste a moment!

Our little guy loves helping get packages, but this one was far too heavy to handle. Thank goodness for our UPS savior. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear a brown uniform ❤️
