At 26 he undergoes 9 surgeries to help him find work: now he is practically a different person
What would you do if, during a job interview, they insinuated that your appearance is not very appealing and that they would prefer to give that much desired position to another person? Most of us would not allow ourselves to be put down by those strategic and untruthful words and would continue to send off resumes and attend job interviews. Instead, there are those who do not give up and in order to obtain the desired job decide to undergo facial surgery to have a more ... appealing appearance.

Do Quyen is a 26-year-old man who lives in Vietnam and who suddenly went viral thanks to his story posted on TikTok in which he made his very strange story public to his followers. Do told his story through photographs and video, that in some of the interviews he had previously attended he had not been given the job because of his physical appearance, according to the employers, he didn't look "reassuring". So what did Do do?
Not only did he not give up, but he spent a whopping $17,000 undergoing nine operations to change his face!
With all the earnings he had accumulated over the years, the Vietnamese man dedicated himself to changing his appearance, starting first from the most important surgical operation, that is, the one to change his nose; before it was much wider, and he wanted it transformed into a much narrower dainty little nose.
The remaining surgical operations which the 26-year-old guy underwent included various adjustments to his nose, implants to modify his chin, porcelain veneers, lip reshaping, subsequent implants on the aforementioned lips and finally eyelid surgery. If you look at the before and after photos of Do Quyen, he looks like a totally different person!
But were these operations to radically transform his physical appearance worth the long-awaited and coveted job? It seems so, as now the virtually unrecognizable 26-year-old is working full-time as a professional makeup artist in the South Vietnamese city of Saigon.
Good luck to him, even though we certainly wouldn't want to undergo surgery to get a job. Would you?
