The cycle of life, birth, and aging can be something bitter to swallow; on the other hand, we are all sensitive to change, especially when it happens over time.

We cannot reverse the direction of life, so the best way to live peacefully is to surrender gracefully to the fact that this is the way everything is destined to evolve.

This mother's letter dedicated to her daughter deals with a subject that concerns us all personally, sooner or later. Namely, the aging of our parents and the inversion of roles, from caring for others to being looked after.

These are words that affect us regardless of our age and whether we have young children or not.

"When it comes to new technologies, give me time to learn and don't look at me that way ... Remember how much patience I had to have to teach you many things, to eat properly, to get dressed, to comb your hair, and to deal with life's problems every day, ... So, the day you see that I am getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but above all, to try to understand what I'm going through.

If I happen to lose the thread of the conversation, give me time to remember and, if I cannot, do not get nervous; do not be impatient or arrogant. Just know that the most important thing for me is being with you.

When my tired old legs won't let me move as quickly as before, take my hand, in the same way, that I offered you mine when you took your first steps. When those days come, do not be sad ... just be with me and understand and love me as I come to the end of my life.

I will cherish and remember all the happy times that we shared. So, with a big smile and with all the love I've always felt for you, I just want to say "I love you, my dear daughter."

These words touched us so much that we almost started crying. Children should reflect on the fact that it is possible that one day in the distant future, they will have to return all the care and love that their parents have given to them!
