Cars are our trusted travel companions and often they are considered something more than just a means of transport.

In fact, cars represent a status symbol, our personality and in some cases, cars are cuddled and loved by their owners almost as much as a child!

Precisely due to its daily use and the resulting wear and tear, dirt and signs of age accumulate over time, making cars almost unrecognizable.

Here are 9 little tips that can give your car back its previous look!

Use sheets of newspaper, white vinegar, and elbow grease to remove annoying dirt and dust from car windows. With this method, the dirt will reform with more difficulty.

Instead of using expensive specific products, olive oil can be used to treat car seat leather. Rub a cloth soaked in olive oil on the affected parts and remove the excess oil with a clean and dry cloth.

If your windshield wipers make a loud noise and do not remove the water as they should, it may be time to change them. But you can try to give them a second life by cleaning the rubber with a sheet of paper soaked in alcohol. The result is guaranteed!

Cleaning car seat fabric is not as simple as it may seem. Unless the following remedy is used! Put vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, and detergent into an empty spray bottle and mix well.  Spray this solution on the affected parts and clean the area thoroughly with a brush, you'll see the result!

For this task, you can use the same product created in the previous tip. Spray it on a microfiber cloth and pass it over the edge of the rims, to remove dirt and dust.

If you have an old car and the headlight lenses are dull and opaque, then here is a remedy that will make them look like new! All you need is toothpaste and a cloth. Put some toothpaste on the headlight lenses and rub them with the cloth and clean it all up with another clean and damp cloth --- then step back and admire the final result.

Removing pet hair from car upholstery is really difficult. But here is a little tip that will make everything much easier. Moisten lightly with water the surface in the car to be cleaned and then pass a rubber glove over the area. You'll see how all the pet hair will remain attached to the rubber glove.

To eliminate the most unpleasant odors, put in a hermetically sealed jar, a few tablespoons of baking soda with some drops of your favorite essential oil fragrance. Make a small hole in the jar cap and put the jar under the car seat or in the glove compartment.

Dust can be very annoying, especially on the car dashboard and in the car air conditioning nozzles. You can remove dust with a small brush of the appropriate size that fits into the car dashboard crevices.
