We know perfectly well that you really don't want to open the oven in your kitchen and realize that the double glass in the door needs to be scraped, thoroughly cleaned, washed and finally disinfected. Too much work, too much of a waste of time, of strength and of unpleasant products to get down to doing this thing. What if instead we told you that there is an easy and simple method, very low-cost and that will allow you to bring your traditional oven back to looking new and very shiny?

First of all, what you need to have on hand is very simple:

Some water
A wooden spoon
Tea towel or paper towel or absorbent paper
a spray bottle
Some citric acid
Here is how you should proceed with these simple infredients to have the glass door of your oven always clean, shiny and bright, as if it had never been used: fill the spray bottle with a liter of water and two tablespoons of citric acid, then shake the contents and spray it on the internal glass of the oven door; leave to act for about 10 minutes. Then, wrap one end of the wooden spoon with a cloth or absorbent paper (the paper towel is just as good), and wipe it gently on the surface of the glass; if your oven has a double internal glass door, the result will be even better!

Et voilà, the glass on your oven will be bright, shiny and new like never before; it will almost seem that you have never used it, however surprising the final result is. However, don't forget, one very important thing: the mixture of water and citric acid that you used to clean the glass of the oven in your kitchen, can also be easily used to clean the most stubborn dirt from your pans, and don't forget to clean the inside of the oven at least once a month!

Have you ever tried this cleaning technique with your oven? If so, how did it go? Let us know in the comments!
