An ant sneaks into a shop and tries to steal a precious diamond

In the vast world of insects on this planet - that is generally unloved by most people - ants occupy a privileged position. In fact, these animals have characteristics that make them fascinating in the eyes of humans --- first of all, because of their hard work. 

Each and every ant is completely devoted to helping the community and works tirelessly to ensure the well-being of the colony. 

Remaining on this subject, we found a delightful video that has as its protagonist a worker ant intent on accumulating sustenance for its anthill. In this case, however, it is not carrying a seed or breadcrumbs, but something much, much more precious. At least for us humans!

The video was filmed in the back room of a gemstone shop in New York, and in a few hours, it had already bounced around the world. On the work surface, between little packets of gems and documents, a man noticed a "movement" and could not resist using his smartphone to capture a curious scene --- a tiny ant, probably with a good nose for business, as it scampered away, carrying nothing less than a diamond! 

After considering that these insects have no problem carrying up to ten times their body weight, we can hypothesize that the value of the diamond was quite high. Many users could not help but notice the delightful way in which the little ant seems to turn around from time to time as if to make sure that no one is following it. 

What will it do with the diamond? Give it to its queen? Sell it to some sheik? The questions are many ... Meanwhile, enjoy this delightful moment that certainly is unlikely to be seen very often in life.
