Although the scrapping of cathode-ray tube (CRT) televisions took place just over 10 years ago, the big brands are already looking ahead to the future to create a type of television! 

As a matter of fact, surpassing the latest state of the art ultra-flat screen and high definition TVs, next in our homes we will have a special glass plate, that can be placed on a credenza or sideboard for example, with a TV incorporated.

This glass plate uses the OLED technology in which the pixels are not illuminated by backlighting, but it is the pixels themselves that actually produce their own light! When not turned on the glass plate is completely transparent!
