Sharon is the struggling owner of a small business called "Mrs. C's Cupcakes" in Penrith. A few years ago she was diagnosed with cancer, she lost her brother this year, and her son is battling a degenerative disease.
To pay all the medical bills Sharon is forced to work very hard, and this takes away a lot of her free time that she would like to dedicate to her son.
When a customer returns to complain about some recently bought cupcakes gone stale overnight, Sharon has no idea that her life is about to change! In fact, the KIIS 1065 radio station in Sydney has sent radio personality Jackie O to give Sharon a $10,000 donation collected from their radio listeners! Sharon is overjoyed because this much-needed donation will be of vital help in coping with medical expenses!
