Each of us dreams of meeting our soul mate, and yet, despite the numerous opportunities that present themselves day after day, this is not always easy. There are those who keep trying, hoping to find the right person; and then, there are those who decide to just give up. And then there are those who treat the whole issue philosophically and as a bit of light-hearted fun.

This is what the woman at the center of this story did: a young woman who confessed to web users the reason for her being single. Let's find out together:

Hope Schwing, is 24 years old, lives in Los Angeles, California and works as a socila media influencer. However, this is not the only reason why she has become famous on the internet. Hope has, in fact, confessed something that really got tongues wagging.

In a video posted to her social media channels, Hope claimed that she is single because she is too beautiful: "No one talks about how difficult it is to be very sexy and not be able to find a boyfriend. Men are extremely intimidated and scared of me and being as incredibly sexy as I am, is a curse".

Of course, a statement like this raised a few eyebrows. Noting the impact her statement had, Hope immediately pointed out that she was being sarcastic and ironic and she didn't really believe what she had said.

"What I said isn't actually true," Hope confessed. She continued: "I often hear women who try in every way possible to justify why they are single and, being single, I wanted to have a bit of a laugh. I'm single and alone, it's true, but I'm fine. For the moment, my life great and  I don't feel I necessarily have to have a person by my side. I have a lot of commitments and if love knocks at my door, so be it. I certainly won't be looking for it".

Some, however, failed to pick up on Hope's ironically-meant statement. In fact, some commented that they failed to detect or see the so-called beauty Hope claimed as causing her problems.

What is certain is that Hope had a very specific purpose: to have a little fun and a laugh at her own expense. Whether others understood this or not, it doesn't matter. The fundamental thing is that Hope feels good about herself and the way her life is going.
