The arrival of a child is certainly a happy event, but the pregnancy and the birth can be challenging for the parents. For this reason, there is usually a "plan" for the best time for a couple to have children.

But life never goes according to plan: Naomi knows this very well. Naomi is a young mother who had her daughter at 17 years of age, but who has never regretted her decision. Recently, Naomi decided to respond to those who criticized her for having a child at such a young age.

In a video shared on TikTok on her @bynaomib account, the young mother decided to respond to one of the many comments she received after she told people around her that she would become a mother at just 17 years of age. In the video, one comment reads: "You will not be able to handle a child at 17...".

On the video, Naomi is seen singing a song, before her daughter appears behind her, sporting a big grin. In the description, the young mom wrote, "She's the best thing that ever happened to me. Now I'm 23 and have a five-year-old best friend." The video got nearly 500,000 views and hundreds of comments.

Many young moms supported Naomi, sharing their experiences: "It's the best age to have kids. I was 17 when I had my baby and he's going to be 10 this year. I wouldn't trade him for anything," wrote one woman. "I've been a mom since I was 15. I'm 49 now and have 4 grandkids. What could be better than that? I get to grow up with my grandkids," another mom stated.

"I don't think it matters at what age you become a parent, we're all in the same boat," stated another mother. Many others underlined the energy that a young mother can have; others, however, pointed out the possible lack of maturity of a seventeen-year-old girl.
