Weddings are important occasions to which it is good to show up to wearing the appropriate clothes, possibly following the guidance of the spouses on the matter. For women, it is a good rule not to dress in white, and not to wear clothes that are too flashy and that could distract from the beauty of the bride's wedding dress (which is not revealed until the last moment). In any case, for a wedding, there is a rather formal dress code, which includes a jacket and tie for men and various other types of clothing for women. In short, the important thing is not to show up in jeans and a tank top - apart from this, the choices available are quite wide. But this was not the idea of the sister of a bride, who showed up at the wedding with in a pair of jeans and a blue tank top, provoking the anger of the bride.

This woman did not want to follow the rules set by her sister - the future bride - on the occasion of her wedding, as she was too concerned about remaining faithful to her principles and her beliefs. The sister's only request had been to set the rule for formal attire only to be worn at her wedding - as is usually required in all such ceremonies. The sister, however, said she prefers more masculine style clothing, as she feels more comfortable in trousers and a T-shirt. In the end, she showed up at the wedding in jeans and a top: "I decided to wear the most expensive pair of jeans I had and a matching top. It's the best I could do. At first I was denied entry, but my sister managed to persuade the owner to let me in."

The woman explained her reasons, despite both her sister and mother having been clear about the dress code (and begging her to comply for at least just this one wedding day). The sister said: "I have a more masculine style. I just dress casually. I never liked getting dressed up, doing my hair or makeup and I never liked typical feminine things," wrote the woman. She continued: "My sister got married last week and from the moment the planning for wedding started, I have been told that I should dress appropriately  They expected me to do my hair or wear makeup, but that's not for me. I don't think I should change my way of life for a wedding."

Many users did not agree with this type of behavior, given that on such an important day for her sister, the woman chose to focus all the attention on herself. She decided to give precedence to her way of living, despite her family's pleas for her to conform for just one day. And this was a choice that created many problems during the reception, since the owner of the restaurant did not want to let her in. The new bride, of course, was very angry with her sister for not being able to follow a simple dress code for just one day.
