They cannot sleep in different cots otherwise they cry despairingly: the story of two inseparable twins

Those who have brothers and sisters know how strong the bond can be between them. This bond can be exclusive and tight at one time and then, at others, it can be a nightmare. Often - especially if you have a twin - you search for each other, share every moment - good or bad, become best friends and confidants and want to do everything together with each other. If this is the case, that's great. If not, how will things turn out?

It's possible that siblings can have personalities and temperaments that clash and so the normal, tight, strong bond between them does not form - in fact, quite the opposite can occur . But this is absolutely not the case with the twins we are about to tell you about in this story. On the contrary, to say that they are inseparable would be an understatement. And their mom knows a thing or two about this!

Brenna Grund, a 27-year-old woman from Minnesota, posted a video on TikTok showing her 56,000 followers what happens if she tries to separate Lane and Lennox, her twin children. The reaction is truly incredible: even in cradles that are very close, the twins cry desperately and are unable to fall asleep peacefully while separated. The can only fall peacefully to sleep when their mother puts them in the same cradle and one is able to feel the warmth of the other next to them.

Before her video was published, however, Brenna had repeatedly recounted her experiences on the web and how she could not, in any way, separate her children without making them upset. The criticism of her parenting techniques, however, were not long in coming. Many argued that the woman was not using the proper methods for raising her children. But she replied by showing everyone, through her media posts, what actually happens when separating them and argued that "their bond is inexplicable in words and perhaps only those who have a twin sibling can understand its' profundity". This is probably the case. Especially if you are only 7 months old and the beginning of your life was difficult. In fact, and unfortunately,  the twins remained for 20 days in a neonatal intensive care unit due to various problems encountered at their birth. And it was probably because of this that, feeling their sibling closeby is still the best way for them to reassure themselves. Knowing that their twin is near, even unconsciously given their tender age, makes their their daily lives livable and their sleep peaceful.

"For them it is very reassuring to cuddle, hold hands and by now they are very used to it" wrote Brenna in a comment to the many videos posted on the status of her children. She also stated that for her, letting babies cry to the point of exhaustion is by no means a good way to raise them and give them direction in life. Many of the people who follow her agree and encourage her to continue on this path: let the infants cuddle each other and be happy like this - at least for now and until they are ready to start separating from each other.

This is a touching and very sweet bond that demonstrates how much love there can be even between two infants so small and innocent. What do you think? Would you act like Brenna, or would you try to give the babies other habits?
