A restaurant asks her to breastfeed her child in the disabled bathroom: the woman goes on the rampage

Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things a mother can do after giving birth to her baby. Although most of the time the mother prefers to feed the baby with her mother's milk within the privacy of her home, this does not mean that the baby can be allowed to cry and may need to eat even when going out into the fresh air, perhaps in a public place frequented by other people. Yet, despite the naturalness of breastfeeding, many individuals still see this practice as rather embarrassing, and they often consider it "inappropriate".

Imagine what happened to this womanl, her baby and her mother when they went out to eat together at a local restaurant; the young mother from Stockton-on-Tees in Great Britain had finally decided to spend a day away from home with her mother Catherine, the child's grandmother, and her son Louis, who was only eight weeks old. Jessi Ferguson, the mother involved in this absurd misunderstanding, had asked the employees of the restaurant if she could have a comfortable table or at one least a little lower where she could possibly breastfeed little Louis; in response, the fast food staff replied to the woman that she could safely breastfeed him in the disabled bathroom.

Catherine, Jessi's mother, was furious as the young mother was forced to go to the bathroom reserved for disabled customers, sit on the toilet and breastfeed her little son who in the meantime had started crying because he needed breast milk.

A piece of advice, from the restaurant staff, that Catherine and Jessi did not take well at all, both being shocked by the response they recieved to the request for a slightly more comfortable breastfeeding position: "I was furious that this was the situation the staff had put both of them in. Especially in Covid times, those toilets were not thoroughly cleaned after each use. After exiting the bathroom my daughter was upset. Louis was still crying, and he was absolutely right in my view!"

Obviously, an apology later came from the restaurant management, who spoke only of an unpleasant misunderstanding between the staff and mom Jessie: "On this occasion, a misunderstanding by a new member of the team led a customer to be informed that the Disabled toilets were the only place in the restaurant where they could breastfeed their baby. It is not our policy and we encourage all mothers to breastfeed safely at our tables."

A rather unpleasant situation that no breastfeeding mom should ever experience when she goes to a public place. What do you think of the response from this restaurant?
