Losing your job is never an easy situation to deal with; even more difficult if the cause of the dismissal is due to the saving of a human life; what would a self-respecting employer do in this case? Would he fire the employee who saved a life on the spot or would he reward him? Unfortunately, the protagonist of this story found himself in a very unpleasant situation, being punished for his good deed and losing his job.

The employee's name is Robson dos Santos and he lives near Sao Paulo in Brazil. His misadventure began one morning as he was traveling by car to go to his workplace; on the way, however, the guy witnessed a truly disturbing traffic accident: a car had rolled over five times and then broken through the guard rail on the road, ending up with facing downwards in a large area densely covered with trees and vegetation.

Robson knew he couldn't ignore it, so he stopped his car, got out and tried to call an ambulance and a tow truck to get the car out of that scary situation and make sure the driver was okay.

The boy said: "I saw everything. The car rolled over about five or six times, right on the road. I put myself in the driver's shoes [...] I walked over and said hello, how are you? Are there people in there with you? He told me he was alone and I asked him to take off his seat belt, as he couldn't escape from the car himself ... "

Obviously, Robson stayed with the driver all the time, waiting for the ambulance and the tow truck to arrive, forgetting that by now he was very late for work, so much so that, upon his arrival and still in shock, the man was unceremoniously fired by his employer...

While the immediate dismissal was definitely life-changing news, Robson is sure what he did was the right thing, and would do it again if that meant saving a human life: "I was in the right place at the right time and even though I was an hour late for work, I'd do it again! "

Robson has a lion's share of courage and although he lost his job due to an ungrateful employer who did not want to understand the gravity and uniqueness of the situation, should only be applauded!
