They say an image is worth a thousand words. The image that was taken of an elderly woman in a Cole's Supermarket in Australia, however, will have you speechless. The elderly woman went to the supermarket to pick up some groceries, but was met by aisles and aisles of empty shelves. The Codvid-19 epidemic has finally arrived in Australia, and judging by the empty shelves in the supermarkets, so has the panic surrounding it.

This particular image was taken on March 19, 2020 in a Cole's Supermarket in Port Melbourne, Australia by journalist Seb Costello. He shared the image on his twitter page, stating that the woman couldn't believe that there was no more canned food left.

Obviously, it pays to be prepared. Australia has been watching the rest of the world suffer from the Coronavirus outbreak, so they've learned from everyone else exactly what to expect. It's too bad they didn't learn that it doesn't pay to panic. With people emptying supermarket shelves left and right, it makes it hard for other people, like the elderly - who find it difficult to get around - to find groceries.
