Children often feel that they have more or less well-founded fears with the most common ones being fear of the dark, of the monster under the bed or fear arising from real-life traumatic events.

Little Ady, for example, had never had trouble sleeping alone at night, but after a strong earthquake, she could no longer fall soundly asleep and was constantly awakened by nightmares.

The solution to this problem that was becoming a real concern to her family came in the form of a pit bull dog.

The Leary family lives in Alaska where earthquakes are frequent and also of strong intensity.

Little Ady has had the experience of being in a magnitude 7.0 earthquake, which fortunately did not endanger anyone in her family, but in any case, it had greatly frightened her.

The little girl, before then, had never had any problems sleeping alone in her room, however, after the earthquake, she refused to stay or sleep in her cot.

Fortunately, the solution turned out to be already right there in their house! At first, the parents thought they would have to ask for the help of a psychologist.

Fortunately, instead, the little girl child demonstrated that she only needed someone to give her confidence and make her feel safe, like their pet dog, Fury!

To be on the safe side, Ady's father monitored the situation through the cameras installed in his little daughter's bedroom to observe the behavior of the dog in the company of the little girl - and he witnessed a very tender scene between his little girl and the pitbull puppy.

Both were lying on the cot, despite the relative size of the puppy dog, the little girl pulls the blankets carefully over the pitbull's body for fear that he would get cold. And only after making sure that her faithful companion is covered does she rest her head on the pillow and fall asleep.

Ady's father posted the video on Facebook to show how the fearful and often hasty conclusions about pit bull  dogs are simply not true.

In fact, according to him, "If you educate them with love, they will only give love" and that is why he has never been afraid to let his little daughter sleep alongside their pet pit bull dog.

Indeed, it is only thanks to their pit bull dog Fury, that Ady has finally regained the tranquility she lost due to the earthquake!
