Probably to some people the name U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon may not sound very familiar, but for sure everyone has seen their incredible performances at least once.

The group was created in 1948 to stage a single performance, but the experiment gathered so much consensus and enthusiasm that it immediately became an institution in the framework of official ceremonies in the United States.

The precision and coordination with which the Marines perform their routines captivate and amaze spectators, as you can easily ascertain from the performance that we present below.

The 24 members of the team are characterized by a very serious and composed appearance. Everyone must respect strict physical rules to gain admission, and only after two years of service and practice can they join the group that presents their performances around the country.

One of the platoon's scheduled performances was held at the Gallatin High School in Nashville, Tennessee, where this video was filmed.  The lucky students were able to witness in total silence a formidable demonstration of discipline and precision. Definitely, a moment that will be remembered for a long time ... Now you can enjoy it, too!
