The Eyeborg --- gives one-eyed filmmaker another perspective!

Rob Spence lost the sight from his right eye six years ago after a shotgun accident on his grandfather's farm. Today, Rob has had his right eye replaced with a prosthesis. The amazing thing is that this prosthesis called the Eyeborg is a digital camera created from the technology used for cell phone cameras.

Do not proclaim a miracle just yet because this digital prosthesis is not connected to the optic nerve and cannot restore sight! No, we are definitely not in the era of the "Terminator". Instead, the images captured by the "bionic eye" are projected onto a digital display.

We do not know what the future holds for this invention but for now, Spence wants to use it to shoot a documentary about bionic prostheses.
