Those who think that with one ingredient it is impossible to make a delicious dish are wrong! It is not the number of ingredients but the creativity in using the items you have available.

Today we offer this dish prepared with virtually only potatoes and the usual oil, salt, and some spices.

Look what you can make by simply cutting potatoes into very thin slices and arranging them in a baking dish. Incredibly delicious!

Finish by brushing the surface of the slices with a mixture of oil and butter, add salt, pepper, and paprika. Quarter several shallots and place them between the slices.

You can add any other favorite spices and ingredients, such as cheese and mozzarella for example! You can also use only olive oil to prepare a lighter dish.

Cook the potatoes for about 2 hours at 190°C (375°F). We recommend that you add a few sprigs of thyme after about an hour and fifteen minutes and then continue cooking until done.
