When you are preparing a sweet or a dessert most of the time the recipe requires the butter to be at room temperature. But we almost always forget to take the butter out of the fridge! How can we make this hard butter usable in a short amount of time?

Easy! Just put the required amount of butter on a plate or saucer. Then fill a glass with hot water, wait one minute or until the glass is hot. Empty out the water and quickly dry the glass and place the glass over the butter. In a few minutes, the butter will be soft and ready to use. Seeing is believing!
