Allison revealed the "magic trick" to get her daughter to sleep in a video that went viral, and which has reached 4.6 million views since it was uploaded to TikTok. But how did Allison solve her daughter's insomnia problems and recover some well-deserved rest for herself as well? Apparently, the trick involves an easy, cheap and safe method - all it requires is to have the child eat a banana before going to bed. Bananas are usually never missing from the homes's regularly purchased fruit, and apparently they work great for relaxing muscles and promoting sleep.

''I saw a video on TikTok of someone saying that if you give your baby a banana before they go to bed, they'll sleep through the night, "Allison explained, adding, "And everyone who knows me knows I have had the worst sleep ever since from day my baby was born", stated the mother, while her daughter played in the background.

The "banana trick", says Allison, has been working fine for at least 8 months and the explanation lies mainly in the composition of the fruit's chemistry: rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that improves sleep quality, bananas are also rich in potassium, which acts as a an excellent muscle relaxant. On top of that, bananas are high in carbohydrates and vitamin B6, which makes them the perfect snack before bed.

It goes without saying that hundreds of users have welcomed this suggestion with open arms, knowing full well what it means not to sleep at night and having young children who do not want to go to bed at night. '' Okay, tomorrow I'm going to buy bananas! My daughter is also one who never sleeps," wrote one user.
