An old trick that has always been used with great success! Mix half a cup of baking soda and half a cup of white vinegar, pour the mixture into the clogged drain, followed immediately by four cups of boiling hot water. Very effective against grease and food particles.

Frightened by the idea of putting your fingers in the shower drain? Pour half a cup of salt, followed by plenty of boiling water. The salt will scour away all the scum you do not dare or want to see!

Pour about a half cup of dishwashing liquid into the clogged drain and leave it to stand for about half an hour. Then, pour half a pot of boiling water down the drain. Next, turn on the faucet and let the water run to make sure the drain is unclogged.
