12 incredible cleaning tips that will save you money and time!

Do you want to do some cleaning but you are looking for some advice on how to spend less, save time and maybe avoid introducing too many toxic chemicals into the environment? Then you're in the right place! 

Below we present 12 cleaning tips and tricks that mainly employ natural substances or products that you already have in your home for other uses.

As a matter of fact, if cleaning is done on a regular basis, it is not necessary to use products that are very aggressive!

1. To clean the dishwasher, pour in a cup of vinegar and start a wash cycle, then do another wash cycle with a tablespoon of baking soda.

2. Duct and other adhesive tape marks are easily removed using lubricating oil.


3. Greasy fingerprints easily disappear using a pencil eraser!

4. Need to repair the holes in a wall on the fly? Simply use white toothpaste to fill them up ...

5. To clean a tea filter, put it in some water and lemon juice and let it soak for an hour.


6. Thoroughly clean computer components using a microfiber cloth moistened with a solution of water and vinegar.

7. Tea or coffee stains on your cup? They will disappear when you wash the cup using baking soda!


8. Applying a small amount of shaving foam on the shower or mirror glass in the bathroom and wiping it away with a rag will prevent fogging!

9. Sanitize your dog's bed by spraying it with a solution of water and vinegar and then sprinkle the bed with a little baking soda!


10. White spots created by water on a wooden surface should first be dried thoroughly with a hair dryer and then moisturized with a cloth soaked in a little vegetable oil.

11. A bit of hydrogen peroxide in the toothbrush container will prevent the proliferation of mold that causes black spots on the toothbrush handles.

12. And finally, a do-it-yourself multi-purpose cleaning product!

Peel two oranges and put the skins in a container. Fill it with vinegar to cover them and let them soak for a couple of weeks. At that point, the smell of vinegar should have subsided, replaced by the smell of oranges. Use it as a sanitizer/deodorizer on all surfaces, except on wood.
