Each of us is very different from the other, but some responses to external factors are the same for everyone.

Have you ever wondered why some phenomena manifest themselves on your body? Why do you yawn, or why do we have those moments when you have a short-term memory blackout that sometimes makes us a little worried, too?

Obviously, there is an explanation, and sometimes it is really bizarre!

Hiccups are the response that follows the irritation of the vagus nerve. This can occur when food or drink fall into the wrong duct.

We get goose pimples when the body feels it is necessary to retain the inner body heat, by closing the pores of the skin.

Yawning is actually a deep breath that facilitates the intake of oxygen that the brain requires to quickly restore its functions. It also serves to lower the internal body temperature when we concentrate intensely for long periods of time.

If you do not remember some important events of the past, it is because your mind has removed them. They were probably painful memories and the brain preferred to remove them so as not to suffer. It is a kind of protective shield.

If you often have eyelid twitches, it is because you are under stress, dehydrated, have drunk too much alcohol or coffee, or you have not had enough sleep.

Stretching puts you in a good mood and it is instinctive to stretch right before engaging in physical exercise. The same situation occurs when you get out of bed in the morning.

Often right before falling asleep, the body relaxes very quickly, the muscles loosen, and breathing slows down. These signals are interpreted by the body as fainting or suddenly losing consciousness and the body releases a sudden muscle spasm to try to make you immediately resume consciousness.
